The passive, restful poses of Restorative Yoga use support (such as blankets, bolsters, blocks & eye pillows) to create positions of comfort & ease that are held for several minutes, allowing the body to slowly come into a deep state of rest in which it can regenerate & restore.
These soft but powerful poses have a profound impact on our mental, emotional & physical health by giving the body & mind the time & space needed to rest & digest (both literally & figuratively) & to come into harmony.
